Read Aloud

The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading, is reading aloud to children for 15 minutes a day.

28% of adults in Monterey lack basic literacy skills.   If they can’t read, they aren’t reading to their children, and their children are falling behind.

Literacy organizations need your help.
